Hey buddy

Oxidation is a process of addition of oxygen or removal of hydrogen during reations.

Oxidation can be exothermic as well as endothermic but mostly it is exothermic .

Example :-

For endothermic , 2Na + 1/2 O2 + energy ----> Na2O

For exothermic , CH4 + O2 -----> CO2 + H2O + energy
