oxidation number of carbon in C3O2

i think C3O2 does not exist and if we try to solve its oxidation it is 3x -4=0= 3x=4= x=4/3 which does not exist. and oxygen with charge 3 on it will not be. i think the question in ur paper is wrongly printed by friend.
