Hey Hi
let the oxidation state of calcium be x
hence
x + -1 * 2 = 0........ ( as valency of nitrate ion NO3 is -1 and 2 molecules of nitrate are present )
so it becomes
x - 2 = 0
x = 2
Hence oxidation state of calcium is 2

Hope this helps
