Oxidation State of H in ph3 is 1

MacTavish343: actually there is three hydrogen which means +or - 1
MacTavish343: as ph is electron accepting group that's why here hydrogen is in +1 oxidation state

moksha1220000: see if H is attached to metal then its oxidation state is - 1 and if it is arrached to non metal then oxidation state of hydrogen is +1
