The oxygen flask combustion method is a method which is repeatable for igniting the samples which are used in schoniger process.

A reflector is used which focuses the infra red radiation which are basically from two halogen lamps on an area which is 10cm  up the chamber.In 10 seconds the lamp is set on fire as soon as the start switch is pressed.
