Oxygen is diatomic gas but sulphur is octa - atomic solid. Explain.​

Answer:

The intermolecular forces in oxygen are weak van der Waals forces, which causes it to exist as gas. On the other hand, sulphur does not form strong S=S double bonds hence exists as a puckered structure held together by strong covalent bonds and exists as apolyatomic molecule. So, it exists as a solid.

because oxygen is our need not co2 and without oxygen we cannot breathe still one min or sec and co2 also harms us so we exhale co2 and inhale o2 thats why
