Oxygen is more in atmosphere but goes on decreasing as we go up higher in space . why ?

Oxygen is a heavy gas and stays very low towards to the earth and as we go higher and higher the molecules of oxygen start decreasing and also the pressure starts decreasing because most of the atmosphere is comprimisedof heavy gases which stay down and the lighter gases have very less mass which does not exert so much of pressure.
And if you are talking about space then the whole space is actually vacuum(no air)
