Oxygen lights fire....then why is it present in water??

Fire needs oxygen to keep burning. When we throw water on it, its oxygen supply is cutoff and so that part of the flame which doesn't get oxygen goes out and the other part where oxygen is still available will keep on burning until there is no substance(fuel) to burn on.

oxygen...lights fire...but...both water and oxygen are different medium....water is liqued medium and oxegen is gas medium.....so that it didnot depent in water,oxyegen are present that main not it also fire by oxyegen
