oxygen present in the air attacks both alluminium and iron but why alluminium is considerd better than iron for a number of purpose

Explanation:

Aluminium is less reactive metal . Although oxygen of air attacks Aluminium and iron both but Al does not get rusted . besides this Al is the lightest metal so Al is considered for a no. of purposes like making aeroplane wings, different utensils , windows , foil for food preservation etc

iron get rusted due to harmful air which is released from the factory smokes and aluminum does not get rusted . That is why aluminum is considered better than iron .
