4.29\times10^{14}\text{ Hz}

Given: Speed of red light = 700 nm

= 700\times10^{-9} m

= 7\times10^{-7} m

Frequency of red light = \dfrac{\text{Speed of light}}{\text{Speed of red light}}

Speed of light = 3\times10^8 m

Then, Frequency of red light = \dfrac{3\times10^8}{7\times10^{-7}}

=0.429\times10^{8-(-7)}=0.429\times10^{15}\\\\=4.29\times10^{14}\ Hz

Hence, Frequency of red light = 4.29\times10^{14}\text{ Hz}

The frequency of the light be in the material is 4.29\times10^{14}\text{ Hz}.
