cfc(chlore fluoro carbons) are the main reason for the depletion of ozone layer- the protective cover of our earth. It is mainly use din refrigerators, deos etc  as a cooling agent. But soon after it's opened to surroundings. it rise high to the sky and reach near ozone layers and make reaction there. As a result of this, ozone gets depleted.
