Ozymandias diary entry by traveller

i once travelled to a far off place where ancient civilisations used to exist. In the desert I came across a broken statue that was lying in the sand. The face that was lying in the sand had very stern and powerful look. The sculptor had done a good job of capturing the exact expression on the face of the person to whom the statue belonged. The look was that of disdain and contempt for others. The words written on the statue were quite ironical as compared to the condition of the statue. The words were " My name is Ozymandias, king of kings, Look upon my work, ye mighty and despair" Only his broken statue bears evidence to his strength now. I was reminded of man's mortality, pride and honour gets destroyed by time leaving behind art.
