hey mate here is your answer ✌♥✌

p+(1/p)=8

(p²+1)/p=8

p²+1=8p

p²-8p+1=0

by quadratic formula

D=b²-4ac

=64-4

=60

p=-b+_√(D)/2a

=8+_√60/2

=8+-2√15/2

=4+-√15

so p=4+√15 or p=4-√15

hope it will help you

Hey mate here is your answer,

p +  \frac{1}{p}  = 8 \\   \\   \frac{ {p}^{2}  + 1} {p}  = 8 \\  \\  \frac{ {p}^{2}  + 1}{p}  =  \frac{63 + 1}{8}  \\  \\  \\ comparing \: on \: both \: sides \\  \\ p = 8. \\  \\  \\
