subtracting 2nd equation frm 1 we get
(p-1)x+ 3y =2
- 6x + (2-q)y=6
then 3 eq. formed is
p+q=3
afterwards multiplying 1st eq. with 3 we get 3(p-1)x+9y=6 when this eq. subtracts the given 2nd eq. we will get 4th eq. i.e. 3p+q=2
solbing 3 & 4 eqns. value of p= -1/2 and q=7/2
