Hi ,

( p - 2/5 ) / ( p + 2/5 ) = 5

[ (5p- 2 )/5 ]/[(5p + 2)/5 ] = 5

( 5p - 2 ) / ( 5p + 2 ) = 5

( 5p - 2 ) = 5(5p + 2 )

5p -2 = 25p + 10

-2 -10 = 25p - 5p

-12 = 20p

20p = -12

p = ( -12 ) /20

p = -3/5

I hope this helps you.

p-2/5/p+2/5 = 5

p-2/5 = 5(p+2/5)

p-2/5 = 5p+2

p-5p = 2+2/5

-4p = 10+2/5

-4p = 12/5

-p = 12/5*4

-p = 12/20

p = -3/5

Hope it helps you
