P/2 + P/4 = 15 then find the value of P = ?​

Here is ur answer......
Write P/2 and P/4 as fractions.
Then take LCM of the fractions.
(I.e.lcm of 2 and 4 is 4)
P/2 will become 2P/4 and P/4 will be the same
Now ur equation is 2P/4+P/4=15
=2P+P both by 4 =15
When four comes to the right it becomes
2P+P=15*4
3P = 60
P=60/3
P=20
To check ur answer
20/2+20/4=15
=10+5=15
15=15
LHS=RHS
