p-(2p+5)-5(1-2p)

=p-2p+5-5+10p

=-9p=LHS

=2(3+4p)-3(p-4)

=6+10p-3p+12

=7p-18=RHS

LHS=RHS

-9p=7p-18

-9p-7p=-18

-16p=-18

p=-18/-16=9/8
