The polynomial is
p(x) =  {p}^{2}  {x}^{2}  + ( {p}^{2}  -  {q}^{2} )x -  {q}^{2}  \\ or =   {p}^{2}  {x}^{2}   +  {p}^{2} x -  {q}^{2} x -  {q}^{2}  \\  =  {p}^{2} x(x + 1) -  {q}^{2} (x + 1) \\  = (x + 1)( {p}^{2} x -  {q}^{2} )
So,

After factorization we got the answer. (^)

I have simply multiplied the bracket term to remove the bracket.
Next ,
I have taken the terms common and got the answer.
