Let the Point P(-3,1),Q(5,-2) be P(x₁,y₁) and Q(x₂,y₂) respectively.

Using the Formula of the Slope,

   m = \frac{y_2 - y_1}{x_2 - x_1}
⇒ m = (-2 - 1)/(5 + 3)
⇒ m = -3/8
∴ m = -3/8

Hence, the Slope of the line Passing through the points P and Q is -3/8.

Hope it helps.

SOLUTION:-

GIVEN POINTS :- P(-3,1),Q(5,-2)
here,
x _{1} =  - 3 \\ x _{2} = 5 \\ y _{1} = 1 \\ y_{2} =  - 2 \\ formul a \: of \: slope \\ m =  \frac{y _{2} -y _{2}}{x _{2} -  x _{1}   }  \\ m =  \frac{ -  2 - 1}{5 + 3}  \\ m =  \frac{ - 3}{8}
hence, the slopes of the lines passing through the given points = -3/8
