Hello!!

______________________________________________

(p -3) ( p+3)

It can also be written as..

p(p -3) +3 ( p -3).

P^2- 3p +3p -9.

P^2 -9= 0 ( -3p and 3p will be 0).

p^2= 9.

p = √9

p =3 (value of √9 = 3).

or, it is in the form of.

(a-b) ( a+b).

and we know that=

a^2 - b^2= ( a -b) (a+b).

Using this identity we conclude that.
(p -3) ( p+3)= p^2- 3^2.
