=p^4+q^4+2p^2q^2 -p^2

q^2

={p^4+q^4+2p^2q^2}- p^2q^2

={p^2+q^2}^2 -p^2q^2

=(p^2+q^2+pq) (p^2+q^2-pq)

using the formula of

  • (a+b) ^2=a^2+b^2+2ab
  • a^2-b^2= (a+b) (a-b)
