GIVEN :

The values are p=5000, t=4\frac{1}{2} and r=15

TO FIND :

The value of I using the formula  \frac{prt}{100}

SOLUTION :

Given that the values are p=5000, t=4\frac{1}{2} and r=15

By using the formula I=\frac{prt}{100}

t=4\frac{1}{2}

=\frac{8+1}{2}

t=\frac{9}{2}

Substitute the values in the formula we get ,

I=\frac{5000\times \frac{9}{2}\times 15}{100}

I=\frac{5000\times 9\times 15}{200}

By using the property is given by

\frac{\frac{a}{b}}{c}=\frac{a}{bc}

=25\times 9\times 15

I = 3375

∴ I =3375

∴ the value of I from the given values is 3375.
