Concept

The resulting force is defined as the total amount of energy applied to an object or body and the direction of the body.

If All forces act in the same direction, so the resultant force must be the same for all forces

Given

P and Q are the two forces in same direction

Find

We need to find the Resultant Force

Solution

As we know that angle is 0 so the value of Cos 0 = 1

Now Resultant =

 \sqrt{p ^{2} + q ^{2}  + 2pqcos0}

 \sqrt{p ^{2}  +  q ^{2} + 2pq}

Hence The Resultant Force is R (vector) = P (vector) + Q (vector)
