The value of P+Q is -1.5

We can simply solve the mathematical problem by the following method.

We know that,

Q - 2P = 12  (Equation 1)

Q = 3

Now,

On substituting the value of Q in the equation 1;

⇒ Q - 2P = 12

⇒ 3 - 2P = 12

⇒ -2P = 9

⇒ P = $-\frac{9}{2}$

Now,

The value of P+Q = $-\frac{9}{2} + 3$

                             = $\frac{-9+6}{2}$

                             = $-\frac{3}{2}$

                             = -1.5

As a result, the value of P+Q is -1.5.
