P and Q horizontally push in the same direction of 1200 kg crate. P pushes with the force of 500 Newton and Q pushes with the force of 300 Newton. If frictional force provides 200 newton of resistance what is the acceleration of the crate

Force applied by P = 500N

Force applied by Q = 300N

since both of them are applying force in the same direction, the resultant force will be = P+Q = 500+300 = 800N

Now, the Frictional resistance is 200N

NET FORCE = 800N-200N = 600N

Now, force = 600N

We know,

Force = mass×acceleration

600 = 1200×acceleration

600/1200 = acceleration

1/2 = 0.5 = Acceleration

Acceleration of the crate is 0.5m/
