Answer :

The Interest rate is 7%.

Step by step explanation :

Given Data :

Investment of P : Rs. 36,000

Investment of Q : Rs 25,000

Time = 4 Years.

P gets Rs 3080 more interest than Q.

Rate = ?

Formula of simple interest = > ( PRT/ 100 )

#For P ( S.I )₁ = PRT/ 100 = (36000 × R × 4)/ 100

#For Q ( S.I )₂ = PRT/ 100 = (25000 × R × 4)/ 100

( S.I )₁ - ( S.I )₂ = Rs. 3080

( 360 × R × 4 ) - ( 250 × R × 4 ) = 3080

(1440)R - (1000)R = 3080

(440)R = 3080

R = 7%

So, the Interest rate is 7%.
