=> P / Q = 11 / 12

=> P = 11Q / 12 ------(1)

P : R = 9 : 8

=> P / R = 9 / 8

=> P = 9R / 8 ------(2)

On comparing RHS of equation (1) and (2), we get

11Q / 12 = 9R / 8

=> Q / R = 9 × 12 / 11 × 8

=> Q / R = 9 × 3 / 11 × 2

=> Q / R = 27 / 22

=> Q : R = 27 : 22
