Solving :-

P(E) = 5/4

 \frac{5}{4}  = 1.25

we know that the p(E) lies between 0 to 1 but here it is 1.25.i.e ,

P(E) = 0 P(E) 1

so 5/4 = 1.25 so 5/4 can not be the probability of an event
