To find:

Value of the P.

Solution:

1) We will find the value of the P by the examples only.

2) Let us consider the square of 2 which is 4 and when we divide it by 3 we get the remainder 1.

3) Now let us consider the square of 4 which is 16 and when we divide it by 3 we get the remainder 1.

4) Let us consider the square of 3 which is 9 but when we divide it by 3 we get the remainder as 0 because it is the multiple of 3.

So if we divide any of the perfect square by 3 we get the remainder as 0 or 1.
