ANSWER :->

P( -80/9 , 70/9 )

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:- A(-10,8) , B(-5,7) , P(_,_)?

AP = 2/9AB

AP/AB = 2/9 ................(1)

Now, AP+BP= AP

2+BP= 9

BP= 9-2

BP = 7

So,

AP/BP= 2/7

Let m= 2 , n= 7

now from section formula :-

P(x) = {2*(-5)+7*(-10) } / 7+2

= {-10-70} / 9

= -80/9

P(y) = {2*7+7*8} /7+2

= {14+56} l 9

= 70/9

So, P(-80/9 , 70/9). [ANSWER]
