Given,

p(m) = 2m^{4} -3m^{3}+5m-4

To find,

The value of p(-2).

Solution,

To find the value of p(-2) we would  have to replace all values of p with -2.

⇒   p(m)=2m^{4} -3m^{3}+5m-4

⇒   p(m)=2(-2)^{4}-3(-2)^{3}+5(-2)-4

⇒   p(m)=2(16)-3(-8)-10-4

⇒   p(m)=32+24-14

⇒   p(m)=42

Hence, p(m) = 2m^{4} -3m^{3}+5m-4 then the value of p(-2) will be 42.(Option B)
