\huge\sf\underline\orange{Required answer}

p(m)=m²-3m+1

If p(1)= (1)²-3(1)+1 = 1-3+1 = -1

p(-1) = (-1)²-3(-1)+1 = 1+3+1 = 5

We have,

p(m) = m² - 3m + 1

∴ p(1) = (1)² - 3(1) + 1 = 1 - 3 + 1

⇒ p(1) = - 2 + 1 = - 1 ...(Answer 1)

Now, p(- 1) = (- 1)² - 3(- 1) + 1

⇒ p(- 1) = 1 + 3 + 1

⇒ p(- 1) = 5 ...(Answer 2)
