=2p+2q-2p+2q
*+ve 2p and -ve 2p gets cancelled
=2q+2q
=4q
=2p+2q-2p+2q
*+ve 2p and -ve 2p gets cancelled
=2q+2q
=4q

(p²+q²+2pq)-(p²+q²-2pq)
p²+q²+2pq-p²-q²+2pq
2pq+2pq
4pq
I guess the question was to whole multiply 2 with both the terms
