Answer:

distance of Q from finish line, when P completed the race =2250 meter

Step-by-step explanation:

given, total distance of the race = 4500 m

speed of P = 2× speed of Q

and, speed of Q = 3 × speed of R

R completed the race in 45 minutes

⇒ Q takes \frac{1}{3}rd of the time taken by R to complete the race = \frac{1}{3} × 45

    = 15 minutes

also, given that, P is twice as fast as Q

⇒time taken by P to complete the race = \frac{1}{2} × 15

    = 7.5 minutes

in 7.5 minutes, P will complete the race. that time Q will be \frac{1}{2}th of the distance from finishing line

distance of Q from finish line, when P completed the race = \frac{4800}{2}

   =2250 meter
