Ratio of average temperature between P and Q is 11:12 and that between P and R is 9:8.The ratio between the average temperature of Q and R is ?

Solution :

P : Q = 11 : 12   multiply by (9)

P : R = 9 : 8    mulitply by(11)

we get,

P : Q = 99 : 108

P : R = 99 : 88

P : Q : R = 99 : 108 : 88

therefore,

Q : R = 108 : 88 = 27 : 22

Q : R = 27 : 22
