ATQ, Because R has two-thirds of the total amount with P and Q.

$x = \frac{2}{3} (6000 - x) \\ \\ 3x = 2 \times 6000 - 2x \\ \\ 3x + 2x = 12000 \\ 5x = 12000 \\ x = \frac{12000}{5} \\ \\ x = 2400$

So, R have 2400/- as his share.
