Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

→ The present age of P is 33 yrs.

→ Given that P tells Q " when my age was 4/5 of your present age , your age was 7/11 of my present age" and if the resent age of Q is 30 years then we have to find the present age of P

→ Let the present age of P and Q are x and y respectively.

→ It is given that when P age was 4/5 of Q present age then Q age was 7/11 of P age which gives the equation

SPACE FOR IMAGE-1

→ Now, if the resent age of Q is 30 years i.e y=30 yrs.

⇒  SPACE FOR IMAGE -2

→ Hence, the present age of P is 33 yrs.

Present age of P is 33 years.

Given,

Present age of Q = 30 years

To Find,

Present age of P.

Solution,

Let the present age of P = X years and present age of Q = y =30 years.

From question we can write,

X - 4/5 of y = y - 7/11 of X

55 X - 44Y = 55 Y - 35 X

90 X = 99 Y

90 X = 99 * 30

X = 33

Hence, present age of P = 33 Years.
