Answer:

Given that ;

Distance around the Rectangular field

( P ) = 400m

Let ,

The breadth of the Rectangular Field ;

( b ) = x meters

The length of the Rectangular Field ;

( l ) = x + 26m

Formula :

Perimeter of the Rectangular Field

( P ) = 2 ( L + b )

400m = 2 ( x + 26 + x )

400m = 2 ( 2x + 26 )

400m = 4x + 52

400 - 52 = 4x

348 = 4x

4x = 348

x = 348 / 4

x = 87

Hence ;

Breadth of the Rectangular Field ;

( x ) = 87 Meters

Length of the Rectangular Field ;

( x + 26 ) = 113 Meters
