P. V. Sindhu is an ace shuttler and silver medallist at the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics This young badminton player from Andhra Pradesh was born to volleyball players P. V. Ramana and P. Vijaya in the year 1995. Her father was honoured with the Arjuna Award for having displayed excellence in his sport. She has an elder sister P. V. Divya who is a national-level handball player. P. V.
