p = k/(p+5) where k is constant of proportion

given when p = 6, q = 1

6 = k/(1+5)

6 = k/6

k = 6*6

k = 36

hence

p = 36/(q+5)

when q= -1

p = 36/(-1+5)

= 36/4

p = 9
