P(x)= 2x2-3x + 7a

P(-2)= 2 (-2)2 - 3(-2) + 7a

2(4) +6 + 7a

8 + 6 +7a

14 + 7a

Since -2 is the zero of the polynomial,

14+7a= 0

7a= -14

A = -14 / 7 = -2

Thus, a is equal to -2.
