We have,
2x²+x²-2x-1 and we. have the divisor g(x)=x+1,. so x=-1.

Putting the value in the polynomial p(x) :

2(-1)²+(-1)²-2(-1)²-1
2+1-2-1
= 0.

Hence the remainder is zero.
So we can clearly say that p(x) is exactly divisible by g(x)

Hope it helps.
