Answer:

p(2) = 3(2)-1 = 5

P(x) = 3x - 1

P(2) = 3 x 2 - 1

6 - 1 = 5

P(-2) = 3 x - 2 - 1

- 6 - 1 = - 7

Now , P(2) - P(-2)

5 - ( - 7 )

5 + 7

Answer 12
