Given that:- p (x) = 3x +1 and x=\frac{-1}{3}

To find the value of p(x)

For that, we have to put the given value of x=\frac{-1}{3} in the above expression,

=>p(x)={3x+1}

=>p(x)=3(\frac{-1}{3})+1

=>p(x)=(-1)+1

=>p(x)=0

Hence, the required value of p(x) is 0.

As per the data given in the question, we have to determine the value of the expression.

Given data:- p(x)=3x+1 , x=\frac{-1}{3}

To find the value of p(x)

For that, we have to put the given value of x=\frac{-1}{3} in the above expression,

\begin{array}{l}=>p(x)=3 x+1 \\=>p(x)=3\left(\frac{-1}{3}\right)+1 \\=>p(x)=(-1)+1 \\=>p(x)=0\end{array}

Hence, the required value of p(x) is 0. .
