Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

P(x)=4x^2+x-5

To find:-

Find P(0) ,P(1),P(2) for the polynomial?

Solution:-

Given polynomial P(x)=4x^2+x-5

1) If x= 0 then

P(0)=4(0)^2+(0)-5

=> P(0)=4(0)+0-5

=> P(0) = 0+0-5

P(0)=-5

2) If x = 1 then

P(1)= 4(1)^2+1-5

=> P(1)=4(1)+1-5

=> P(1)=4+1-5

=> P(1) = 5-5

P(1) = 0

3) If x= 2 then

P(2) = 4(2)^2+2-5

=> P(2) = 4(4)+2-5

=> P(2) = 16+2-5

=> P(2) = 18-5

P(2) = 13

Answer:-

P(0) = -5

P(1) = 0

P(2) = 13

for the given problem

Step-by-step explanation:

P(x)=4x²+x-5

if p(0)

p(0)= 4(0)^2 + 0 - 5

= 0+0-5

=-5

p(1) = 4(1)^2+1-5

= 4+1-5

=5-5

= 0

p(2) = 4(2)^2 +2-5

= 16+2-5

= 18-5

= 13
