QUESTION

☞ verify the zeroes of polynomial.

◕ p(x) =5x^2-4/5

SOLUTION

◕ If x= 1\2 and x= -1\2 are zeroes of polynomial p(x)=5x^2 -4/5 then,p(1/2) and

p(-1/2) should be 0.

☞ p(1/2) =5×(1/2)^2-4/5

=5×1/4-4/5

=5/4-4/5

=25-16/20

=9/20. not equal to 0.

✧Therefore it is not a zero for the given polynomial....
