Answer:

putting x = -a/b , we get ,

p(x)= a × (-a/b) +b

= -a²/b +b

on taking LCM we get

p(x)= -a²+b²/ b

now as -a²+b²/b is not zero so given value of x is not

a zero for the given polynomial p(x)
