Given:

P(x)=ax²+bx+c

a+c=b

To Find:

zeros of the polynomial

Solution:

we have,

P(x)=ax²+bx+c

⇒ P(x)=ax²+(a+c)x+c

⇒ P(x)=ax²+ax+cx+c

⇒ P(x)=ax(x+1)+c(x+1)

⇒ P(x)=(x+1)(ax+c)

now

P(x)=0

⇒ x+1 = 0

⇒ x= -1

So, One zero of the polynomial is x = -1.
