here is ur answer:

p(x)= x+3

p(1)+p(-1)

(1+3) + (-1+ 3)

4 + 2

6

put x= 1 then p(1)= 1+3=4

then put x= -1 p(-1) =-1+3=2

according to p(1)+p(-1)=4+2=6
