Given : P={x:x is a factor ot 56} q={x:x is a multiple of 4 and x< 30

To Find : (P - Q ) ∩ ( P  ∩  Q)

(Q - P ) ∩ ( P  ∩  Q)

Solution:

P={x:x is a factor ot 56}

=> P = { 1 , 2 , 4 , 7 , 8 , 14 , 28 , 56 }

q={x:x is a multiple of 4 and x< 30

=> Q = { 4 , 8 , 12 , 16  , 20 , 24 , 28 }

P - Q  =  { 1 , 2 , 7  , 14 , 56 }      = P  ∩  Q'

P  ∩  Q  = { 4 , 8 , 28 }

(P - Q ) ∩ ( P  ∩  Q)  = Ф  

Q - P  = { 12 , 16 , 20 , 24 }    = Q  ∩  P'

P  ∩  Q  = { 4 , 8 , 28 }

(Q - P ) ∩ ( P  ∩  Q)  = Ф    

Both are empty set
